We want to take a minute and talk about snow fence. Not the snow fences you see on the highways but one that is above you on the roof.
Snow fence is great for those of you who live at high elevations that see a lot of snow and ice build up on your roof. Snow fence or sometimes called snow guards, ice guard, or snow shields. They are installed periodically across your roof system to help prevent snow and ice from falling below. These systems can be extremely helpful for those of you who own metal roofs and if partnered with a heat trace system can virtually eliminate your ice problems. They are made of polycarbonate and/or metals depending type, size, or specific function of the guard. Some manufacturers have designed metal powder-coated color armor shields to match roof colors and at times can actually give the roof more appeal aesthetically.
See the attached photos of a recently completed system installed by Eduardo we put in for a customer of ours. Contact our office via our estimate form at www.aspen-roofing.com if you are interested in learning more about how they can help your roof system last longer and prevent injuries or accidents to loved one's below.
Thanks!

Ryan shows you how to install gutters yourself!
We find that this time of year we are so busy conducting roofing estimates that we don't get time to make it to all of our gutter estimates too. We either refer you to another local gutter company here in Salt Lake or we can just show you how to do it yourself! Check out this video that was put together on E-how by our very own Ryan.
