Alternative Energy
We are looking for better and more efficient products for you
Not only is it costing you more $ at the pump these days with the recent events in the middle east, but it is also going to cost you more money to get that asphalt roof fixed or replaced. Every time the cost of crude oil goes up, we see a cost increase on asphalt shingles as well. Our manufacturers have increased our prices at least 2-3 times a year in the last few years. Sometimes jumping as much as 8%. That is a huge increase for our consumers.
This convinced us to take it upon ourselves to search the marketplace for energy efficient exterior products for your homes and we like what we are finding. Within the last 12 months several manufacturers have come out with either green roof systems, energy star rated shingle systems, solar powered ventilation, recycled roof systems, and photovoltaic solar panels (some of which are thin film).
Aspen Roofing wants you to be educated on all of your product options. We are leading our industry to find ways to save our customers $$$ and help the environment too. We are all in this together and are glad to be doing our part.

Aspen Roofing has seen its fair share of ice damming this year. Not just in Park City but also in Salt Lake City. Ice damming is when a ridge of ice forms around the edge of a roof which prevents the water from draining off. This can cause problems to your roof shingles or gutters. Within the last two months we have come across a new product that will help prevent ice damming. It is fairly inexpensive in comparison to the cost of replacing or repairing your roof system.
